Soundmass Is Pleased To Announce The Signing Of BioGenesis
Originally formed in 1996 by front-man Chaz Bond (Jacobs Dream, Human Paradox), 9 years has passed since the release of their debut album “The Mark Bleeds Through” (2001, Rowe Productions). However, 5 years after their apparent demise, BioGenesis has reformed with their original line-up. After a few reunion shows in their local area of Dayton, Ohio, the band began working on their new album – “The Rise, The Fall, The Rebirth” – which will see a release before the end of 2010. With a style that crosses genres, you can expect an album spanning from power metal to death metal, with a touch of progressiveness – a sound which is uniquely BioGenesis. With influences like Iced Earth, Cannibal Corpse, Fear Factory, Deliverance, Disturbed and Nevermore, and guitarist John Berry (Jacobs Dream) guesting with his signature solos, “The Rise, The Fall, The Rebirth” will see the band coming back stronger than ever! For an idea of what to expect, head over to the BioGenesis MySpace to hear a basic mix of the new song “Hatred Seed”.
Same As Sunday Releases New EP
Alternative Press magazine’s “Unsigned Band of the Month” (Dec. 2008), Indianapolis-based pop-punk band Same As Sunday releases its highly anticipated 7-song EP, Earn Your Stripes, October 26, 2010.
Having recently wrapped a year’s worth of 150+ tour dates with band’s including INO recording artist Stellar Kart and Gotee Records act Abandon Kansas, Same As Sunday sustains its momentum with the follow up to last summer’s The Dollar For Dollar EP. Inspired by lead singer Chris Bauchle’s deployment with the United States Air Force for Operation Enduring Freedom this fall, Earn Your Stripes reflects Same As Sunday’s desire to live a life of purpose, serving God, spreading His Word, and encouraging others to do the same. “The Lord calls us not only to place our faith in Him, but also to spread His word among the nations,” says Bauchle. “The album’s title is about having complete trust in God and giving every ounce of yourself to something you’ve been called to do.” Featuring honest lyrics and an insatiably catchy sound brimming with frenetic musical energy, Earn Your Stripes has a broad range of appeal. Songs include the thought-provoking, call-to-action anthem “Roads?,” “The Opposite of Two,” which reflects on a painful breakup, and “Exits and Entrances,” about betrayal by a close friend. Earn Your Stripes will release digitally via retailers including itunes, AmazonMP3, and Rhapsody on October 26. Physical copies of the album will also be available for purchase at www.sameassunday.bigcartel.com and at Same As Sunday shows. The band will pre-promote Earn Your Stripes with the release of a music video for “Roads?” mid-October as well as a free MP3 download of the song at select music sites. Additional details are forthcoming. Consisting of Chris Bauchle (lead vocals, guitar), Kyle Martin (guitar/vocals), Nick Berry (bass/vocals) and Andy “the” Heck (drums/vocals), Same As Sunday formed in 2005. The band has since released three projects and visited more than 35 states on six, full-length, independently booked tours. Additionally, Same As Sunday earned a slot on the 2008 Warped Tour, was named Alternative Press magazine’s “Unsigned Band of the Month,” took first place at Concerts First’s “Next Big Thing” battle of the band’s competition, and was selected as a 2009 “Editor’s Pick” by purevolume.com.

The Poughkeepsie, NY natives have spent the last year touring in support of their Facedown debut, The Honest Love, which garnered excellent reviews from the likes of Outburn, HM Magazine, and Indievisionmusic.com–making their upcoming release a highly anticipated sophomore effort. Come&Live! is a grassroots effort founded by former Tooth & Nail A&R executive Chad Johnson. Trans-Siberian Orchestra Announces 2010 Winter Tour
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), one of the top selling concert acts in the world creates one of the most captivating concert experiences on the road today. Insistent on giving their fans the most “value for their dollar,” TSO puts on an over-the-top audio/visual spectacular complete with lasers, pyrotechnics and state of the art lighting with a ticket price that starts as low as $25 allowing generations of fans to be enthralled year after year. Trans-Siberian Orchestra returns to the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, December 3 for one performance only! TSO founder, producer and writer Paul O’Neill explains, “When someone goes to a TSO concert, we don’t want them to walk away saying ‘that was a great show’ or ‘that was worth it’ or even ‘that was the best show I’ve seen in a long time.’ We want them to say, ‘Man, that the best show ever; we just ripped that band off.’” With sales in excess of seven million – including nearly two million CDs and DVDs sold in the past two years -Trans-Siberian Orchestra is among the most popular groups of the modern era. The Orchestra debuted in 1996 with the timeless “CHRISTMAS EVE AND OTHER STORIES.” Highlighted by the remarkable hit single, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” the album has since achieved 2x platinum certification from the RIAA, with sales now rapidly approaching three million. Two further albums completed O’Neill’s planned Christmas Trilogy; 1998’s “THE CHRISTMAS ATTIC” and 2004’s “THE LOST CHRISTMAS EVE,” both of which are currently approaching 2x platinum certification. All three of the Orchestra’s Christmas-themed albums have proven enduring blockbusters, returning annually to the top 10 on Billboard’s “Top Catalog Albums” and “Top Holiday Albums” charts. TSO’s 2009 Winter Tour played to over 1.2 million fans in 80+ cities, and generating revenues of nearly $45 million, which according to Billboard magazine’s midyear touring chart, put them as the No. 2 most attended tour. Since its first Winter Tour in 1999, TSO has been one of the concert business’s most successful acts, consistently rating in the Top 10 for both gross revenues and audience attendance. In the spring of 2010, TSO debuted the much-anticipated live rock opera “BEETHOVEN’S LAST NIGHT,” TSO’s gold-certified rock opera fantasy about “what could have happened” on Beethoven’s final night of life. The successful tour provided the template for their innovative brand of “Rock Theater” and the much-anticipated World Tour in 2011. The band’s latest release “NIGHT CASTLE,” which featuring the singles, “Believe” and a cover of the classic “Nutrocker,” burst onto Billboard’s “Top 200? chart and was certified gold in less than eight weeks.

Intense Millennium Records News
After the near-perfect thrash metal assault of “Weapons Of Our Warfare”, Deliverance took a bit of a left turn with “What a Joke”. This somewhat misunderstood album is the result of creative differences in the band beginning to manifest, but resulted in some of the most unique and interesting work in the band’s catalog. Where before the songs were all serious subject matter and thrash played to perfection,“What a Joke” saw the band taking themselves and their music a bit less seriously, showing the fun side of metal and taking on topics that could be handled with more humor and still get the message across. Classics like “It’s the Beat” and “Purgatory Sandwich With Mustard” see Jimmy and company tackling topics other bands may have seen as taboo, thus, this album remains an important piece in the Deliverance catalog.
As previously announced INTENSE MILLENNIUM RECORDS has the following albums slated for release:
November 2010:
VENGEANCE – HUMAN SACRIFICE
VENGEANCE RISING – ONCE DEAD
SACRED WARRIOR – REBELLION
BLOODGOOD – BLOODGOOD
BLOODGOOD – DETONATION
January 2011:
SACRED WARRIOR – MASTERS COMMAND
ALTAR BOYS – GUT LEVEL MUSIC
February 2011:
VENGEANCE RISING – DESTRUCTION COMES
All titles are newly remastered, and contain bonus tracks (when available).
JOHN REUBEN’s ZAPPIN: THE BEST OF In Stores Now
Gotee Records is pleased to announce the release of John Reuben’s latest project, ZAPPIN: The Best Of, online and in stores now. In the coming weeks, Reuben will be taking his creative brand of music on the road as a part of the “Fly Me To The Show” tour, featuring Reuben alongside Hawk Nelson, Revive and Britt Nicole. Spanning John Reuben’s career, ZAPPIN: The Best Of gives a snapshot of John’s last decade, including 6 albums and over 300,000 units sold. This project will be a digital and Christian Bookstore exclusive and will be an essential for old and new fans alike, containing 18 songs in one collection. “John Reuben has always created music to the beat of his own drum. He’s refused to confine himself to the shallow confines of “hip-hop rules” or to being anything other than himself,” explains Josh Niemyjski, editor of SphereofHipHop.com. “I’m always excited to hear what John does next and it’s been awesome to watch his creativity expand from one project to the next. This ZAPPIN: The Best Of CD is an essential snapshot of his entire career to date, and will be a must have for both old friends and new fans.” The project also includes a link in the packaging where fans can download all twelve of John’s acclaimed music videos. Since his start as an ice cream vendor in his debut album’s “Do Not” video, Reuben has made his name over the years as not only a compelling musical artist, but as a creative visual artist. Continuing with his male cheerleader in “Move”, and most recently, the traveling circus inspired “Town Folk” video, Reuben has developed a dozen iconic characters throughout his career. Gotee Records felt no greatest hits collection could be complete without adding in these classic videos that respond so well to the music. Beginning in early October, Reuben will be joining Hawk Nelson’s “Fly Me To The Show” tour. Beginning in Texas and ending in Michigan, the “Fly Me To The Show” tour hopes to be a tour with purpose, introducing fans to the work of Mocha Club and The Grace Foundation. Tidewater Releases Debut Album
“The Seas We Sail” is the recently released full-length debut album by Tidewater. In the three weeks since its release, the album has remained on the Top Selling Music Chart of leading online distributor Smart Punk. The album was produced by KG (Means, Blind Witness, Hester Prynne), and features mastering by Troy Glessner (Copeland, Death Cab, Anberlin) and stunning cover artwork by Dave Quiggle (Paramore, New Found Glory). Fitting alongside both grandiose melodic pop and modern emo rock Tidewater is the solo work of seasoned musician Brett Allen. He contributes vocals, guitar, piano and mandolin, all of which are featured prominently on the album. Locked away in a studio earlier this year with KG, Allen recorded the songs in between his studies at Baylor University in Waco Texas where he majors in film. A seasoned live performer Allen has had his hand in several bands with varying degrees of success but Tidewater has his full focus and input currently. His passion and faith fuel his songwriting as Allen admits “The theme of hope is everywhere in these songs. I know that’s not particularly fashionable but I can’t help it! It’s not my intention to punch people in the face with my values. I’m just a really thankful dude, whose grateful for everything he’s been given.” Tidewater has also been highly promoted over the past month by FUSE TV and Absolute Punk.

NewReleaseTuesday.com Launches Online Radio Station
NewReleaseTuesday.com (NRT), a Christian music, social and entertainment mega-site and part of the FrontGate Media group, is announcing the launch of NRT Radio, a brand new 24/7 online radio station playing only the latest new releases in Christian music. Listeners will quickly notice that NRT Radio is set out to break almost every rule in the industry’s playbook while offering listeners a high-quality experience different than most formats. NRT Radio will be embracing some unique guidelines on their playlist that includes only playing music from an artist’s latest release, keeping repetition of songs to a minimum and playing both known radio singles as well as deep tracks on albums, ensuring a continuously fresh playlist for listeners. NRT Radio will also include music from multiple genres, including Pop, Rock, Adult Contemporary, Urban, Rap and Worship. “People love all types of music,” says NRT Founder Kevin McNeese. “And there are not a lot of stations that blend the genres into one continuous format. We feel a good song is a good song, and are extremely excited to help broaden our audience’s expectations of what Christian music has to offer without forcing them to change the channel to a specific genre.” Bill Lurwick, a radio industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, will be guiding NRT Radio as the Program Director. “There are so many songs that don’t get played on traditional radio,” says Lurwick, “mostly due to smaller and repetitive playlists built from suggested radio singles. We’re excited to smash the mold that has dominated radio for so long, offering over 100 songs at launch and adding at least 5 new songs a week, more than four times the average station, without a single repeat.” “NewReleaseTuesday.com’s foundation has been to educate the Christian music fan of what’s new each week in Christian music,” continues NRT Founder Kevin McNeese. “NRT Radio will be an extension of that goal. I believe listeners will respond positively to what we will offer. I’m also excited for our future plans to offer more exclusive programming alongside syndicated specials that will compliment the overall vision of the station.”
