WHAT: VANS WARPED TOUR 2012 PRESS CONFERENCE AND KICK-OFF PARTY. Press conference will be followed by performances from FALLING IN REVERSE, MATT TOKA, DEAD SARA and TWO iconic VANS WARPED TOUR veteran surprise guests performances, to be revealed the night of the show. The night will include a screening of the documentary film No Room For Rockstars (from Stacy Peralta and the producers of Dogtown & Z-boys) before the concert begins. The live music will be kicked off by a set from FOREVER CAME CALLING–the group featured in the documentary–which is available on iTunes April 2 and on DVD May 15: visit: www.noroomforrockstars.com.
WHO: KEVIN LYMAN–producer and founder of the VANS WARPED TOUR–will address the media and be on hand for a group photo op and one-on-one interviews at the press conference. Joining KEVIN will be members of bands from this summer’s tour and artists from the tour’s past including: FALLING IN REVERSE, MATT TOKA, DEAD SARA, TWO iconic VANS WARPED TOUR surprise guests (which will perform later that night), plus THE VANDALS, UNWRITTEN LAW, EYES SET TO KILL, MIKE POSNER, NEO GEO, THE FABULOUS RUDIES, VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE!, IT BOYS, THE FUNERAL PARTY, GOOD GUYS IN BLACK, THE BRIGGS, IWRESTLEDABEARONCE, JUSTINA, THE SILVER COMET, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, BRIAN MARQUIS, ACOUSTIC BASEMENT, THE DARLINGS, CHERRY BOMB and more veteran artists from the tour’s past and present. Plus, Agi Orsi and Parris Patton directors/producers of the film No Room For Rock Stars.
