Following their raging music video for “Blood and Water” last month, Memphis May Fire has released another new song and music video for “Death Inside.” In their latest track, the band explores some fresh sonic territory, while the visual finds them in performance mode. After a year without live concerts, the video is an effective and in-your-face reminder of the band’s live energy and presence.
Vocalist Matty Mullins has this to say about MMF’s latest release:
“I wanted to get out of my comfort zone with the vocals on this one and ended up discovering a sound that I think really caters to the concept. The song is about fear of death and the choice to either let it consume you or live life to the fullest.”
Along with the new song, the band has released an exclusive new t-shirt in their merch store. 100 percent of the profits from the “Death Inside” design will be donated to Living the Dream, a non-profit that helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction.
