As if we couldn’t jam more Stryper! The classic metallers have released new song, “Fallen,” today as the band preps for their ninth studio release, Fallen. The band, still in its original lineup, will put out the heavy metal offering on Oct. 16 via Frontiers Music. The album was produced by vocalist Michael Sweet, who said this about the track via press release:
“Fallen is about Lucifer before he became Satan. It’s the story of how he got kicked out of Heaven. He tried to overthrow God and take over. The song talks about how beautiful he was. When he walked, there was music. He was the angel of worship and this incredibly powerful and beautiful being.”
The first single from the album, “Yahweh,” garnered over 135,000 streams in the month that it’s been available. If you dig it, preorders are up over at iTunes.
