Valaska premieres ‘Avant-Garde’ music video, new record ‘Thing’ launches February

Valaska, an independent act from Chicago, premiered their new music video for “Avant-Garde,” and it will give you a taste of their new sound, which has been drawing parallels to Bright Eyes thanks to vocalist Dave Valdez’s soothing emotive vocals. Valdez is backed by bassist Zach Porlier and drummer Matt Holmes.

Last year, Copeland‘s Aaron Marsh produced Valaska’s Natural Habit, which received various interest from publications like Alternative Press, Substream Magazine, yours truly and more. Their upcoming album, Thing, will drop early next year.
