Torn drops long-awaited demo

All-star, spirit-filled hardcore band Torn debuts their long awaited demo today. Torn has a veteran roster of members including Joe Musten (ex-Advent), Ben Kocinski (ex-Venia), Aaron Travis and Neil Engleman (Jawbone). I talked to Kocinski about the sound of the project:

We were trying to sound like ’90s hardcore, like Turmoil and Buried Alive. Advent had more of a Converge influence. We stuck with more basic and heavier riffs.
