The second leg will kick off Tuesday, June 19 in St. Petersburg, FL–with support from The Scene Aesthetic and special guests States–including a June 25 stop at New York’s Highline Ballroom. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 4 at 10am local time. Information on purchasing tickets including pre-orders and bundle ticket packages is available at www.therocketsummer.com. Tickets for the current tour with Switchfoot running through May 27 are also available via the band’s website.
LIFE WILL WRITE THE WORDS marks THE ROCKET SUMMER’s fifth full-length album release and first on AVARY’s own Aviate Records. AVARY alone produced, wrote and performed every note. Those attending the current tour dates have been given an advance sneak-peek with a free download of “Run And Don’t Stop,” the first track released off the new album. A music video for the song will be released in the coming weeks.
THE ROCKET SUMMER fans can also pick up a 17-track live album recorded while out on his acoustic tour last year, exclusively at http://noisetrade.com/therocketsummer. The free offering also includes “Run And Don’t Stop.”
