Following their music video for “Landslide Defeater,” released a few weeks ago, Norma Jean has shared a music video for “/with errors” today, off their 2019 record, All Hail.
Directed by Shane Gray, the band’s latest video visually represents the mirrored image themes that run throughout the record. When the album came out in 2019, we spoke with vocalist Cory Brandan about the theme and the song:
“It’s interesting to think that we are used to a flipped version of ourselves, and that’s all we’ve ever seen. You see an opposite version of yourself every day when you look at a mirror. It’s just an interesting concept when you think about it from the perspective of our lives and even history.”
Norma Jean also announced they’d be joining bands from Solid State Records and Tooth & Nails Records for Labeled Fest this summer. They’ll be appearing on the Texas and West Coast dates, along with Emery, Aaron Gillespie, Oh Sleeper, Watashi Wa, Salt Creek, and Idle Threat.
