Trinity of Terror made its stop in Dallas on December 2, 2022. Let me tell you this was one of the best shows of the year. Concert goers had lined up around 9:30 a.m. to ensure a good spot in the sold-out venue.
Atreyu pumped up the crowd and got them ready for the rest of the night. Like most bands, they love Dallas. The city has some of the best crowds for shows, and according to frontman Brandon Saller, this was the best show of the tour so far.
Black Veil Brides brought the next wave of energy and no matter what, they put you in a good mood and get the crowd going wild. As the night went on, the crowd’s energy revved up more and more. Black Veil Brides — a personal favorite — never disappoint, with unmatched crowd interaction and intensity. Lead singer Andy Biersack’s love for his fans is unmistakeable from beginning to end of their set. He and the band consistently go out of their way to give the best of themselves no matter what.
Ice Nine Kills was up next, and to no one’s surprise, they killed it. With production elements and stage presence, the band transformed the room into a horror set and fans were able to experience their unique take on popular horror movies. As a first-time experience, I was throughly impressed with the theatrical performance they put on and their ability to bring the world of film to life.
Motionless In White was last on the lineup, and left everything on the stage. Fans of all ages — even a head-banging 8-year-old — were blown away by their command of the stage and how their music came to life. Their set was outstanding, undoubtedly mirroring the excellence they delivered on their new album, Scoring the End of the World.
The evening was electrifying both on and off the stage. Fans, new and old, were not only supporting the bands on stage; they also showed great respect and care for one another — getting water for those who went a little too hard in the pit and making room for everyone to enjoy the show. There was a consensus among concert goers that this was one of the best shows they’ve seen in a while (and from this tour).
As shown by the every act on the Trinity of Terror tour, and every person in the room, rock is not dead. All four bands are releasing new music, and fans keep coming to support, leaving plenty to anticipate in the coming years.
