March 7, 2013 – For FIT FOR A KING and their fans, months of anticipation are about to pay off. The Texas buzz-band has spent recent weeks unveiling new music via outlets as diverse as Alternative Press, Noisecreep and Absolute Punk. Now, less than a week before the release of its Solid State Records debut, Creation/Destruction – in stores and online March 12th – the band is dropping another ferocious new track, “The Lioness,” as a final preview via heavy music tastemaker Revolver.

“The song tells the story of a man who sells his soul to Satan in exchange for happiness, but finds out that in doing so, he only finds death,” vocalist Ryan Kirby explains to Revolver. “I came up with the concept because the desire for material things and temporary happiness was something I have personally struggled with a lot. And this song serves as a reminder for me of the fate that awaits me if I fall into that lifestyle.”
