SXSW Music Announces First Wave of Invited Acts and Showcase Application Deadline Extension
South by Southwest (SXSW) Music announces the first wave of invited acts scheduled to perform at the 27th edition of the SXSW Music Festival taking place Tuesday, March 12 – Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Austin, Texas. This is only the beginning though and showcase applications will continue to be accepted until Friday, November 9 for a slot at the world-renowned SXSW Music Festival.
Apply now for the opportunity to perform for almost 19,000 music industry professionals including nearly 3,000 media representatives and thousands of fans. Showcasing acts have the opportunity to perform in one of Austin’s many live music venues creating a unique experience for performer and attendee alike. SXSW Music has extended the showcase application deadline for acts to apply to perform at the 2013 music festival until Friday, November 9, 2012 at Sonicbids.com. Sonicbids is the exclusive online musical event submission platform of the 2013 SXSW Music Festival. To apply, go to http://www.sxsw.com/music/shows/apply.
