Grammy-nominated five-piece August Burns Red released a brand new track, “Vengeance.” With their latest release, ABR does what they do best: speak right into the wounds of the world and unleash a brutal call for change.
The band has this to say about their new song:
“Earlier this year, we set out to write a standalone single that was fast, heavy, and concise. ‘Vengeance’ is that song. It’s ABR at our most raw.”
They continue: “The song speaks about how much meaner the last 18 months seem to have made everyone. There is a lack of compassion and understanding for others, and we should be doing all we can to bring that back into our lives.”
ABR recently released Leveler: 10th Anniversary Edition, a re-recording of their fourth studio album. The record was originally released on June 21, 2011, and the reimagined version features special guests, brand new guitar solos, alternate tunings, and more. The band is currently on tour with Fit For a King, Erra, and Like Moths to Flames to celebrate 10 years of Leveler.
