Founded by Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory and his family members- Help Mend A Heart is an organization that serves to help the seriously ill and their families cope with catastrophic medical expenses by raising funds and awareness through the use of social media.

“A few months back my mother, Maureen Waters, became extremely ill with a virus that attacked her heart leaving her in critical condition. The doctors told us it would be in her best interest to get a heart transplant. The problem was that she did not have health insurance. My mother has worked her whole life and has always paid for her own insurance. Unfortunately, she was laid off not too long before she became sick. She lost her insurance and was denied medicaid. Without funds to pay for a cardiac transplant team, the doctors sent her home. Although, she will continue to live with congestive heart failure for the remainder of her life, we are thankful that she is slowly getting better everyday. There are millions of stories like my mom’s. This is why we started Help Mend A Heart. We thank you deeply for your support.” ~ Jordan
