The Color Morale is having a huge summer, and their newest album, Hold On Pain Ends, is streaming now. The album drops Sept. 2. Vocalist Garret Rapp recently spoke with HM about the album:

There’s so much saturation and so many bands. There’s always the newest thing and the newest band. If I’m doing something that has validity — that has reason, purpose to it — and substance, then that’s what’s going to stay. That’s what’s going to be around in 10 years. I might not sell as many records as the next new thing but I’m not so concerned with selling records. I’d much rather have the memory of the influence that I’ve made.
