I had no idea what to expect from this band, but it was quite a pleasant surprise — solid, thrash-infused death metal. The quickest way into my heart is a good riff, and there are some great ones found on Time to Kill the Beast. This album is beefier than most extreme metal, and that is actually refreshing. It’s death metal filled with life; Enshrouding has announced its arrival.




Droning On

The world came to a halt in 2020, but London-based Drones trudged on, giving a voice to the hurt that circulates with (or without) a pandemic: "You shouldn’t underestimate the power of writing things down or literally speaking them out loud, which I’m learning. I’m glad I made these songs, no matter how personal they are."
