Southern California’s Dayseeker announced their new album, Dark Sun, arriving November 4 via Spinefarm Records. Today, the band also shared the video for their new single, “Without Me.”

Following the band’s first release since 2019, “Neon Grave,” singer Rory Rodriguez shares more about their new track: “‘Without Me’ is about an old relationship that died and how it begged to ask the question: ‘How do you feel the same without me as a part of their life?.”

Regarding the deeply personal and contemplative album, he explains:

Dark Sun is a collection of songs that deeply explored my personal life over the last two years. Most of it is written about my father’s passing, about how it felt like the sun burned out the day he passed, and how the world is a little darker without him in it.”

Dark Sun is now available for pre-order, and you can catch Dayseeker on the road, playing some headline dates and festivals, and wrapping up the year with Bad Omens. Tickets can be purchased on the band’s website.
