John LaRussa, formerly of Inhale Exhale, has started a new project, Animal Giant, and they’ve released a new song, “Ruiner,” here for you. LaRussa spoke with HM about the track.

I feel like this song is more focused on where I want to take this project. It’s only going get heavier and, overall, more aggressive.  This song is somewhat story-based, and I plan on releasing a full-length in the distant future.  The EP was just the initial thought.

Jam it loud.

Animal Giant’s The Glory EP was reviewed by HM in the August issue.

Becoming Comrades

The trio of Comrades – husband and wife Joe and Laura McElroy alongside drummer John Gaskil – is used to living in a van and touring the country. Now, their new normal has provided them with a moment to "be adults" for once. We recently sat down with the McElroys to talk more about the spiritual reality within life, how soon they'll be able to release new music, and how koalas are their new normal.

Between the White Noise

Now, they're learning to interact and feed a rabid fanbase in between albums and in a new normal.
