AS I LAY DYING’s new album THE POWERLESS RISE (out May 11 on Metal Blade) is now streaming live on their MySpace page: www.myspace.com/asilaydying. From today at 12:00pm PST through Monday, May 10 at 6:00pm PST the entire 11-song disc including the furious new single “Parallels” will be unlocked and streaming live. The group will be featured act on the MySpace front page and music pages through May 11.

While AS I LAY DYING cross the U.S. on their headlining tour with Demon Hunter, blessthefall and War Of Ages, the group have announced a day-of-release in-store at Rolling Stones Music (7300 W. Irving Pk. Rd. Norridge, IL 60706). The in-store signing will begin at 3:30 PM sharp and continue until  before the band’s headlining show later that night at the House of Blues (329 N Dearborn St, Chicago, IL).

Combined sales for the Grammy®-nominated group’s last four albums now exceed 1.3 million copies. THE POWERLESS RISE marks the follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed fourth album An Ocean Between Us which debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Rock Chart, earning the group a Grammy® nomination for “Best Metal Performance” alongside Slayer and King Diamond.
