Lexington, KY duo The Company The Comfort has released a new single for “Years Gone By” from their upcoming release Rewritten. The band recently signed to Oil and Water Records who will be putting out the album nationally on Nov. 17. The band had previously been operating independently.

Vocalist and guitarist Bobby Oakley and drummer Justin Wall started the band together as “best friends” who “write good music and have fun.” The two met in 2004 through a mutual friend, but after a number of shows and other bands, they decided to start what would become The Company The Comfort in 2012.

Oil and Water Records is also new to the game, launching in early October and also out of Kentucky.
