Non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms is one of five finalists in the 4th Annual Mashable Awards in the “Must-Follow Non Profit” category! Fans now have 15 days to vote for TWLOHA to win the prestigious award. People can vote once a day until December 15th. Winners will be announced at the Mashable Awards in Las Vegas on January 6th. The 4th annual Mashable Awards (formerly known as Open Web Awards) celebrate major innovations and achievements in the digital and social media landscape by companies, people and projects via an open, multilingual, international, community-nominated voting platform. Millions of votes will be cast in 25 categories ranging from “Best New Gadget” to “Best Music Discovery Service” to “Must-Follow Non Profit.”

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Since its start in 2006, they have donated over $700,000 to people dealing with depression and have answered over 150,000 emails in over 100 countries.


Since 2006, TWLOHA has been flourishing and continues to grow. TWLOHA has won numerous accolades including a full-page color ad in USA TODAY (valued over $185k) by winning the AmericaWants Campaign and $100,000 in the Chase Community Giving Contest, coming in 2nd place. Jamie also won the mtvU Woodie Award in the “Good Woodie” category against artists such as Alicia Keys and Wyclef Jean. He is the only founder ever nominated that is not a musician.
