Today, HM is proud to premiere the first single, “A Time,” from Take Heart. Take Heart is a Raleigh, NC-based hardcore band, and the new single comes from their upcoming album, Family Affair, set to be released on Jan. 23. The positive-focused and Christ-centered band spoke with us about the track:

“‘A Time’ is about losing sight of your walk with Christ. Whether by turning away, sacrificing the spiritual for knowledge (taking the ‘living’ out of the living word) and watering down Christ so that He’s easier to talk about.”

The band is scheduled to be playing Smithfield, NC at Plan B on Jan. 17.

Telle Smith, vocalist for The Word Alive, is coming off the release of the band's sixth studio album, MONOMANIA. That was in February. This is, well, now. Originally planned to tour for the new album and play for millions, he’s in his house in California... trading stocks. HM contributing writer Andrew Voigt catches up with the quarantined Smith.
