Owl City is THE success story of 2009 and the story just keeps getting better! He’s kicked off 2010 with a sold-out headlining tour of the US, a certified gold album and a triple platinum single. Universal Republic has just gone to commercial radio with the second single “Vanilla Twilight” and not only have they been racking up adds super fast, but the song has already gone gold and is nearing platinum. On top of all this, they released a deluxe edition of Ocean Eyes on January 26th with seven bonus tracks including “Sunburn,” “Hot Air Balloon,” and “Butterfly Wings.” After completing his sold-out US tour, Owl City will be making his way to Europe and the UK to perform a sold-out headlining tour there where he’s also topping the charts (“Fireflies” has been the #1 song in the UK for the past 3 weeks!) and than over to Australia to join up with Cobra Starship before returning Stateside for yet another headlining tour of the US – which is nearly sold-out as well!
