To Speak Of Wolves Streaming Tracks
As the May 18th street date for their forthcoming album draws ever closer, red-hot rock upstarts TO SPEAK OF WOLVES continue marking their territory with the release of the second track from Myself < Letting Go. The band is now previewing the anticipated album’s second cut, ‘You Should Have Locked Your Doors Days Ago,’ available for streaming right now on Noisecreep.com and at the band’s MySpace page. “The song pretty much runs the gamut on what we do as a band,” explains drummer Phil Chamberlain. “It has chaos, some spacey guitars, a very drum-driven part and probably my favorite chorus on the record.” He adds, “It’s probably my favorite song to play live. It’s a lot of fun to play and we’ve been opening our sets with it recently.” The album’s lead track, ‘Darkness Often Yields the Brightest Light’, which has been streaming on the band’s MySpace page since last week, is available for purchase today on iTunes. Myself < Letting Go hits stores on May 18th, courtesy of Solid State Records, but those who don’t want to ‘Let Go’ of a good deal can take advantage of a special preorder package now here. In addition, leading up to the release of the album TO SPEAK OF WOLVES have been and will continue to release new video blogs inviting fans into their world including sneak peaks, behind the scenes footage and video introductions to each members of the band.

We Are The Fallen Add Tour Dates
Universal Republic Records’ compelling new rock brigade, We Are The Fallen, will release their debut album Tear The World Down on May 11th, 2010. The first single from this iconic band ‘Bury Me Alive,’ is already making its way up the modern and active rock charts. The formidable five-some is comprised of the original members of multi-platinum trailblazing band Evanescence, guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt along with drummer Rocky Gray, joined by breakout American Idol finalist Carly Smithson on vocals. Acclaimed bassist Marty O’Brien (Disturbed and Static-X, among others) rounds out We Are The Fallen’s unique sound. The group has been on a 28-city tour with Finnish rock band H.I.M., which finishes in New York on May 9th. Following the conclusion of that run, We Are The Fallen will head out on their own two week headlining tour beginning on May 13th in Northampton, MA. In June, We Are The Fallen will return to Europe for performances at the Download Festival and Rock am Ring/Rock im Park. Summer U.S. touring plans are also in the works and will be announced shortly. Moody left platinum-plus breakthrough rock act Evanescence in 2003 and has since co-written major hits for Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson among others. Evanescence’s groundbreaking 2003 album, Fallen, spent an incredible 43 weeks on the Billboard Top Ten Albums Chart, selling 15 million copies worldwide and 7 million + albums in the U.S. alone. For Smithson, We Are The Fallen fulfills her destiny as one of rock’s most potent new female voices. She first turned heads as one of American Idol’s more engaging rock candidates, landing a controversial sixth place slot during Season 7 of the landmark television series, but not before gaining traction as one of the show’s most original and uncompromising new talents. The powerful vocalist’s ‘elimination’ sent shockwaves through the ‘Idol’ blogger nation, with her acclaimed performances on the 2008 American Idol Tour cementing her current reputation as a force to be reckoned with – possessing a riveting rock presence that is second to none.

Carlos Whittaker On Good Morning America
Whittaker gained overnight popularity recently when he posted a clip of his children’s back-seat sing-a-long to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” (and the now-famous incident that followed) on his blog last week, little did he know the priceless moment would grab the attention of CBS’ “The Early Show”, NBC’s “TODAY with Kathie Lee and Hoda,” ABC’s “Good Morning America, “ AOL, CNN and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” among others, bringing nearly 1 million views to this video on YouTube in less than 4 days. Whittaker will be partnering with Dillon International Texas, For This Child and Adoption Access adoption agencies in Dallas to bring awareness to the issue of adoption, an issue close to his heart. To bring meaning and unexpected depth to the entertaining moment, the viral video sensation is shedding new light on a subject dear to Whittaker’s heart: adoption. Whittaker plans to harness this recent popularity and use it to help others, by partnering with local adoption agencies on his tour. The Whittaker’s four-year-old son, Losia was adopted from South Korea in 2006, and he will be using this as a platform to encourage others to adopt and bring awareness to the issue. The first single from Whittaker’s new project, Ragamuffin Soul, titled “God of Second Chances,” penned by Whittaker, Jason Ingram and Phillip LaRue, was partially inspired by Losiah’s adoption. Radio disc jockeys and listeners will not only hear about Carlos Whittaker’s upcoming album, Ragamuffin Soul, but become better aquainted with Carlos, the family man. A husband and father of three, Whittaker also served as a key planner and teacher at last year’s Catalyst Conference in Atlanta, which drew over 12,000 people. Whittaker can currently be seen on tour with artists Shane & Shane and John Mark McMillan.

Third Day Notches Eighth Career RIAA Gold Certification
The honors and awards for Third Day’s Live Revelations: On Stage, Off Stage, Backstage keep flowing in, as the live concert video project earned a Gold sales certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The RIAA Gold certification follows a busy early 2010 that saw the project earn a GRAMMY Award for the band, along with Dove Award nomination for Long Form Music Video of the Year. “We’re definitely both honored and humbled to be receiving this news. It was our desire to give our fans a real sense of what life on the road looks like – just being ourselves; sometimes tense, sometimes funny but always being real,” says bassist Tai Anderson. All tolled, the Live Revelations honor marks the band’s eighth overall Gold certification and second for a video project, with Third Day, Offerings, Offerings II, Come Together, Time, Wherever You Are and the CD/DVD version of Live Wire all hitting Gold status. (Offerings and Live Wire have also hit the organization’s Platinum threshold.)
