Hardcore king Strengthen What Remains released a new track today, “Liberation of the Spirit,” via Rock Feed. The song comes from a promo cassette tape from the Florida-based band, to be released by Blood and Ink Records. It’s a three-song EP due out Jan. 27.

Vocalist Josh White spoke about the song via press release:

“‘Liberation of the Spirit’ is my favorite track on the promo tape. It’s about recognizing my need for something bigger than myself and being brutally honest with my shortcomings and flaws in order to grow and learn from them.”

You can grab the promo tape from Blood and Ink’s store.
