Josh Scogin doesn’t stay dormant for long. Shortly on the heels of The Chariot’s farewell tour finishing, Scogin’s new project, 68, launches. There is also some music available, but it looks like their server is having a tough time at it.
We also just printed up a very small number of 7″ vinyl for the holidays. So if you like what you hear, grab one quickly before they are gone at velvetpress.com.
Dubbed, “Working class music for working class people,” 68’s vinyl can be grabbed here. Listen away! It has a very White Stripes, Jack White-feel.
The song below was recorded live on Dec. 7, 2013, a combination of five different takes.
