Today, HM is proud to premiere a doubleheader from Ring Hollow. The band is dropping a new lyric video for “Storm” that comes from the band’s debut release, No Hope is Near, due out this Friday, June 15. The melodic hardcore band formed three years ago in 2015, formerly known as Talk to the Stranger.

We spoke with vocalist Sam Laponis about the song:

“‘Storm’ is about finding balance when surrounded by chaotic events. Sometimes life is heavy, and you feel like you’re drowning in the darkness. This song is for those trying to find the light when surrounded by the black.”

The band is also proud to premiere a full album preview with the lyric video.

An Artist's Obsession

Telle Smith, vocalist for The Word Alive, is coming off the release of the band's sixth studio album, MONOMANIA. That was in February. This is, well, now. Originally planned to tour for the new album and play for millions, he’s in his house in California... trading stocks. HM contributing writer Andrew Voigt catches up with the quarantined Smith.
