In a change of pace, rock band Red Atlantic is debuting their new video for “Old Machines,” an acoustic version of the track from their debut EP, Outbreak. The EP, released in February, comes from the New York City band, though the members hail from Los Angeles and Italy.

We spoke with the band about the song itself, and how it plays as a stripped-down track:

“This is our acoustic rendition of our song Old Machines, a song about letting go of the past. We always saw the potential in reworking the song into a slower acoustic version and had a blast finally getting to put it all together and film the video.”

You can hear the original EP version below. If you dig the sound, you can follow them on Instagram or jam on their YouTube channel.

Here: A quick look back at the magazine's 35-year history with Van Pelt and new owner, David Stagg.
