Meadows 2019

Today, HM is proud to premiere the new music video for “The Absence” from Meadows. The song comes from the band’s upcoming EP, In Those Days and Also After, Pt. II, which tells the story of siblings coping with the absence of their father.

We spoke with vocalist Christian Nielsen about the track:

“‘The Absence,’ along with it’s EP In Those Days and Also After, Pt. II, is a continuation of the story that now follows the younger of two brothers trying to carry on and help his mother after their father walks out on them and passed away in a car wreck. The Absence comes in on the heels of finding out that the older brother had abandoned them in their time of need.”

Christian Nielsen, Meadows vocalist

The EP will hit stores and streams on July 26.

Now, they're learning to interact and feed a rabid fanbase in between albums and in a new normal.
