JOY is a new band out of Raleigh, N.C., and their punishing brand of hardcore and punk rock has been described as a cross between Slipknot and Ceremony. The band previously released their first track, “Enter the Grave,” before releasing this music video for the song “Switchblade Teeth.” We spoke with the band about the video:

“In the video, we wanted to give it that VHS feel. We like things more basic with a raw look to things. For us, we think it’s more interesting.”

The band will make their live debut on July 29 with Shai Halud in Greensboro, N.C.
