Iron Will 2020

Today, HM is proud to premiere the new single from Iron Will, “Total Recall.” The anthemic new track comes as the follow up to their previous single, “Public Enemy,” which debuted last month. The band’s 2019 debut EP, Secrets, put the Florida trio on the map with their brand of radio-friendly alternative rock. (Think Stone Temple Pilots, 30 Seconds to Mars.)

We spoke with vocalist William Walsh about the track:

“‘Total Recall,’ overall, has been one of the most fun songs for us to write so far. There is something about the energy of this one that has made it an immediate fan favorite. The catchy, positive feel of the track is dichotomized with an important message: We are trapped in this world of instant gratification, lauded by vanity metrics and viral media. We aren’t judging the system but just asking the question: ‘Are we heading in the right direction, or losing sight of true human connection?'”

Heaven's Metal: An Oral History of the Genesis of Christian Metal

Heaven's Metal

HM presents an oral history of the beginning of Christian metal music, featuring Guardian, Tourniquet, Holy Soldier, Whitecross, and, of course, Stryper.
