Facedown Records has announced their first signing of 2022 — London, England’s Confessions of a Traitor. The band has also launched their first single, “Peacekeeper,” off their upcoming album, Punishing Myself Before God Does, set to release September 16.
In their first single, the band wears their hearts on their sleeves with honesty and passion, shared through emotive lyrics that venture to some of the darkest places the band has endured.
They have this to say about their upcoming music:
“We want to provide an escape for people, to embrace their belief when all else is lost. Aggressive music, to build positive people.”
Confessions of a Traitor offers raw emotion through the medium of an energized and confronting sound. Mixed and mastered by Andrew Wade (Wage War, ADTR), Punishing Myself… is anticipated to be an enormous and dynamic full-length album.
