Withered Bones has signed with Blood and Ink Records. The Phoenix-area band formed in 2013, releasing an EP split with Way Under a year ago in Oct. 2014, before announcing their debut full-length, For the Ones I Love, Dec. 4. The first single from the album, “Walking Out,” is streaming via New Noise Magazine.
Vocalist Russ Ulrich spoke about the single via press release:
“I’ve walked away from every relationship I’ve been in for years. Romantic or platonic, I push away people that matter if I feel they are crowding my personal mental bubble. Giving up is easier. ‘Walking Out’ is about the regret I’ve learned to live with.”
The band is offering special deals on cassette tapes and physical copies via their online store.
The band will be on tour in December in support of the release with Tigerwine. Dates below.
