Melodic metalcore outfit The Death in Me has partnered with HM to premiere their new song, “Dragging Chains.” As band guitarist Kyle Calisle told HM, it’s a “spiritual journey, walking through addiction.” The Raleigh, North Carolina-based wrote in to HM to talk about the message behind the track.
Our mission is to extend our sincerity, pain, shortcomings and joy to you and (hopefully) create a dialogue. We want to foster a conversation where questions, doubts and thought are not proverbially shoved under the rug and to create hope through a truly open fellowship. We believe, through our actions, we can help point you to a savior that embodies the ultimate love and truth, available to everyone.
The single will be available for download and stream everywhere tomorrow. The band’s debut EP, Dead Bones, came out in late 2013. They are currently writing for their debut full-length release.
