Hearts Like Lions caught our attention last year with their single “Once Dead, Now Alive,” and earlier this year, the band successfully crowdfunded their first EP, These Hands. Mixing influences from indie rock bands like Indian Lakes, Circa Survive, As Cities Burn or Manchester Orchestra, these Long Beach natives are sure to be turning heads this year. This is one of the most beautiful handfuls of songs I have heard this year.
