Portland-based duo 09 (Oh-Nine) has released their latest single, “Echoes,” featuring Dayseeker’s Rory Rodriguez. Their new release is a pulsating and beautifully executed display of modern alternative rock, elevated further by Rodriguez’s poignant vocals.
EJ Olson shares more about the new track:
“‘Echoes’ is the song that really sets the whole tone for our upcoming album, Lost Years. It’s about growing up and coming to terms with life changing around you, acknowledging that “maybe I’ve changed too.” The only option is to let the past go and move forward.”
The pair of instrumentalists also announced their star-studded debut album, Lost Years, set to release September 17. The record will feature 12 songs and 12 guest vocalists across the scene — including Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), Matty Mullins (Memphis May Fire), Chris Ratzlaff (Fallstar), Cory Brandan (Norma Jean), and more.
