Critically acclaimed guitarist Misha Mansoor (Periphery) has unleashed a music video for “Parabolica,” the first single off his upcoming solo album under his longtime moniker, Bulb.
What began more than ten years ago as a nickname and online moniker for Mansoor’s demos and play-throughs on fan forums is now a highly awaited solo project within guitar circles and Periphery fans. Over the latter half of 2020, Mansoor released ten archival Bulb albums featuring 110 tracks from those early aughts explorations.
Moderately Fast, Adequately Furious will be his first proper solo record under the Bulb name and will showcase years of hard-earned guitar chops and intricate songwriting across 11 innovative tracks.
Mansoor has this to say about the record:
“It was important that I felt genuinely happy with this Bulb debut, but I can say that I finally put together something that I am proud of. This album represents something important to me, and that was both the impetus and the goal in its creation and completion. With that said, I do hope that you enjoy it too!”
Moderately Fast, Adequately Furious is set to arrive July 16. Album pre-orders, including the first ever Bulb vinyl (limited to 300 pieces), can be found now via 3DOT Recordings.
