Project 86 successfully crowdfunds new album

News 10 Mar 14 By

Andrew Schwab and his band Project 86 have successfully funded their next album, meeting the goal of $40,000 set by the band. As a result of meeting the goal with almost three weeks left, they’ve set a new, “updated” goal of $60,000, so you can still back the project. The band posted on their Indiegogo page:

We are sending a powerful message to all in this industry…that P86, and our fans, are connected in something special via this campaign. As many of you know, we have been hard at work writing songs and preparing to enter the studio a little later this year.  This is where the fun begins!

It’s always nice to see artists get paid for their work in the most fair way possible. Big ups to the fans for making this a reality. And — regardless of the project — support some more of these to keep good artists writing good music.
