Today, South African metalheads Forfeit Thee Untrue are unveiling their first lyric video as members of Rottweiler Records with HM. The band, formed in 2010, added new frontman and lead guitarist Gideon Karsten in 2011, and rounded out to a quartet in 2012. With the band complete, they released their first EP, Blood Soaked Splinter, the following year. Since the EP release, the band spent 2014 and 2015 writing and recording material for their debut full-length release, Cremantionem Jesus Lacrimam, to come this year with their newfound label, Rottweiler.

We spoke with the band about their move to a label and about their debut release, which includes “Cradled in Black Arms.”

“We are incredibly honored and excited to have signed with Rottweiler Records. Words cannot express how blessed we feel and how honored we are to have joined the Rottweiler pack and family! As cliche as it may sound, this is a dream come true for us, and it is so overwhelming and humbling to know that this is all God and has all been orchestrated by Him: His plan and in His time!

“We are super-stoked to release our debut full-length album, Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam, through such an epic and amazing label. … We are incredibly proud of our God-fueled album and cannot wait to share it with you. With our eyes to the sky, FTU remains a brotherhood before it is a band and we look forward to making new friends and having more brothers and sisters beside us in the journey that lies ahead.”

You can expect to see FTU out on the road in 2016.
