Wage War - 2021

Today, Florida hard rock quintet Wage War shared a new video for their stripped down version of “Godspeed.” The acoustic rendition is a slightly countrified and twangy version of the original — from 2021’s Manic — demonstrating the depth and breadth of the band’s songwriting.

The band shares more about the song’s reimagining: “‘Godspeed’ was one of our favorite songs off of Manic. As soon as we finished in the studio, we knew it need the ‘stripped’ treatment.”

“We always try to give each song its own unique style. Growing up in the South, the song naturally adopted a country flare. We hope everyone enjoys the first acoustic breakdown — that we know of.”

The Stripped Sessions are coming soon. Sign up for more info! Wage War will also return to the road this December on the A Day to Remember acoustic theater tour. All dates are below.
