THESE HEARTS, a Christian hardcore-infused pop-punk quintet from Fargo, ND are hitting the road this September to join BROADWAY and US FROM OUTSIDE. The tour kicks off down south in Memphis on September 7 and will make stops throughout the East Coast before ending on September 29 in Kalkaska, MI. THESE HEARTS will electrify the crowd with an unforgettable stage show, radiating underlying Christian messages with addicting melodies and catchy choruses.

THESE HEARTS, formed in 2007, deliver their message of positivity and hope via emotional breakdowns, screams, and incredible harmonies. The unique fusions of these elements can be heard on their debut Victory Records release Forever Ended Yesterday (2011), produced by Craig Owens (Chiodos).

THESE HEARTS spent their summer with fans at the Sonshine, Lifest, Ichthus and Cornerstone festivals and are bringing their energetic live show to LifeLight and Rock the Leaves before beginning their September tour. Enjoy their new music video for “Denial Is Not Just A River In Egypt” and make sure to catch them on tour. Check tour dates here.

HM Magazine Turns 35

In 1985, Doug Van Pelt photocopied a letter-sized sheets of paper, bound them together, and handed them out in person on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. It's all digital now, but, along the way, Van Pelt stirred up quite a few waves, played some seriously heavy music, and made a few friends along the way. Here: A quick look back at the magazine's 35-year history with Van Pelt and new owner, David Stagg.

Between the White Noise

My Epic's last full-length album came out in 2013; despite a number of EPs along the way, the band's dedication to their craft, lyrical approach, and unyielding approach to let the music come naturally has made them critical darlings. Now, they're learning to interact and feed a rabid fanbase in between albums and in a new normal.
