The Phoenix, AZ sextet has just finished up in the studio with Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember) in Ocala, FL, putting the finishing touches to the new album, slated for a late summer release. The band will be continuing their live attack with a run on this year’s Vans Warped Tour in the summer.

THE WORD ALIVE – Tyler “Telle” Smith (vocals), Zach Hansen (guitar), Tony Pizzuti (guitar), Nick Urlacher (bass), Dusty Riach (keys/synth), Justin Salinas (drums) – exploded into the metal scene by landing at #15 on the Billboard Heatseaker’s Chart in July 2009 with debut EP Empire. Featured in Metal Hammer Magazine’s Hot List 2010, the Phoenix, AZ metallers completed a sold-out run of the U.S. with labelmates Alesana and A Skylit Drive in Feb/March this year, followed by a run of the U.S./Canada with Stray From The Path and an appearance at Bamboozle Festival New Jersey this spring.
