Ohio quartet The Plot In You has released a music video for their latest single, “Paradigm,” off their upcoming record, Swan Song. The new track is erected on a thunderous riff, with nuanced vocals and other unexpected sonic flourishes throughout, like an utterly chaotic and powerful breakdown.
Vocalist Landon Tewers had this to say about the band’s latest single:
“I wrote ‘Paradigm’ for another band in 2020. I kept coming back to it with my own vocal ideas and ultimately decided to keep it for myself. ‘Paradigm’ is about the ridiculousness of worshipping artists and content creators — most of which don’t care about impact or message they bring.”
Swan Song is The Plot In You’s fifth studio album, due to release September 17, and is now available for pre-order.
