Dallas/Ft. Worth-based brutal death metal act, The Famine, has posted a new behind-the-scenes video blog on the Solid State Records YouTube channel, in anticipation of its forthcoming full-length, The Architects of Guilt.  The fifth installment of the in-studio series, entitled “Studio Session Shenanigans”, recaps the numerous gags, pranks, and bloopers that took place during the The Architects of Guilt Dallas recording sessions last summer.  From the infamous, Satan’s Blood hot sauce, to airsoft gun shots to the back of the head, to cupcakes filled with year-old shaven beard hair, all the action can be seen online now at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUlAyL9hFMA.
The Architects of Guilt, The Famine’s sophomore Solid State Records release, will hit stores on February 15th.
The first four in-studio video blogs can still be seen online at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avjKz9OVVPM, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skb7zdwLsTE, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwN7GQzY4ec, and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tLNbQsuggk, while four brand new songs from The Architects of Guilt, “A Fragile Peace”, “The New Hell”, “VII The Fraudulent”, and “Ad Mortem”, are currently streaming on the band’s official MySpace page at: http://www.myspace.com/thefaminedestroys.
