The Devil Wears Prada - 2021

The Devil Wears Prada has released another new track, “Nightfall,” off their upcoming EP, out May 21. ZII is the next chapter of the band’s original Zombie EP, released back in August 2010. It remains an intense fan favorite, making ZII one of TDWP’s most highly anticipated releases to date.

“Nightfall” boasts all the best of The Devil Wears Prada — from driving grooves, metallic tones, and sludgey breakdowns, to catchy melodies and biting vocals. Vocalist, Mike Hranica has this to say about the band’s latest track:

“I remember that it’s the first song I completed vocally and I know that it’s straightforward — very much straightforward. Lyrically, an atmosphere is created concerning the attack rather than the anatomic details of the undead themselves. It’s a thumper with no introduction to kick off the EP.”

The band will be streaming a live performance of ZII Saturday, May 15. Tickets are now available, along with a pre-order of the EP.

HM presents an oral history of the beginning of Christian metal music, featuring Guardian, Tourniquet, Holy Soldier, Whitecross, and, of course, Stryper.
