Society’s Finest will be performing a reunion show in their hometown of Dallas, TX in celebration of the life of their guitarist, Randal Watts. The show will take place July 11 at The RBC in Deep Ellum. Frontman Josh Ashworth spoke to HM:

We are back together and are about to start writing, but what a better way to celebrate (Watts’) life than by getting together and playing some music he wrote for the show? We will be playing old stuff and mostly from the love, murder cd; the show is a memorial show and we are trying to raise a little bit of money for his family.

The band will be performing as part of Rando Fest.

Becoming Comrades

The trio of Comrades – husband and wife Joe and Laura McElroy alongside drummer John Gaskil – is used to living in a van and touring the country. Now, their new normal has provided them with a moment to "be adults" for once. We recently sat down with the McElroys to talk more about the spiritual reality within life, how soon they'll be able to release new music, and how koalas are their new normal.
