So What?! Music Festival has grown to be a seminal music festival in the USA since its inception, delivering a “comprehensive line-up that spans from deathcore to nostalgic emo, from pop punk to hip hop, attracting fans from all over the country to come and rock out in Dallas every year.

Following this year’s initial lineup announcement, which includes iconic artists such as The Used, Pierce The Veil, Thursday, Sleeping With Sirens, Freddie Dredd, and Neck Deep (who will be making their only festival appearance this year at So What?!), media and fans alike have been sharing their enthusiasm for “one of the most exciting” festivals of the year.

Due to popular demand, the festival promoters are now announcing an additional stage and artists to their already stacked lineup. The fourth stage will feature buzzing metalcore acts Fit For An Autopsy, Invent Animate, The Browning, Varials, along with breakthrough female rapper CLIP, recent Skrillex collaborator Prentiss, and many more!

So What?! co-founder Mike Ziemer shares more:

“We are so excited to have been able to add a 4th stage to the festival to bring more metal and hardcore acts to the event. Fit For An Autopsy, Invent Animate, The Browning, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Varials, No Zodiac, Bodybox, and many more being added to a lineup we are already extremely proud of is the icing on the cake for us! Can’t wait to see it all come to life in less than 2 months!”

So What?! has a reputation for being the first to introduce the festival world to artists such as Bring Me The Horizon before they were recognized by mainstream festivals, making it all the more exciting for fans to get a chance to discover these rising artists along with Poptropicaslutz (who’s current tour is selling out all over), 408 (who’s garnered a massive following on Tiktok), and the emotive sounds of Guardin perhaps for the first time.

There’s plenty more once-in-a-lifetime experiences in store for the longtime fans, as Breathe Carolina will perform a rare throwback live set and Maylene & The Sons of Disaster; Woe, Is Me; The Color Morale; Dallas’ Forever The Sickest Kids; Millionaire$; and Head Automatica will each perform reunion sets. A list of the most in demand hip hop artists (both mainstream and underground) will take the stage including Oliver Francis, the highly anticipated reunion of emo-rap collective GothBoiClique, along with the thundering 808s of screamo x hip hop project Jasiah.

Founded by Ziemer and Orlando Mendoza, So What?! First launched in 2008, blending pop-punk, rock, and metal. Since their start, So What?! has grown to become Texas’ fastest growing festival of this kind, with past headliners including superstars such as Simple Plan, Trippie Redd, 100 Gecs, Rae Sremmurd, and Underoath. This year, Pollstar broke the news about a new partnership between Mike Ziermer’s Third String Entertainment and Disco Donnie Presents (DDP), the leading U.S. independent electronic music promoter, collectively known as Disco Punk, who will produce this year’s So What?!
