Saving Grace released their first single, “1994,” off their forthcoming record, The Urgency. Founding member Vasely Sapunov told HM about the new single and why they picked this track to debut the new album:

We are excited to give people a taste of things to come on The Urgency, and “1994” is a short, fast and relentless kick to the face of the modern so-called ‘heavy’ music scene. The response so far has been incredible and we are pumped for people to hear the rest of this record.

The Urgency comes out Jan. 11, 2014.

Quite The Undertaking

Frenzied. Chaotic. Punk. The Undertaking!, San Diego's newest wild bunch, is about to release their debut album, and, if their live show is a premonition of any kind, the world will be opening up to one heck of a party with them. Contributing writer Andrew Voigt talks to vocalist Austin Visser about the band's new album, the reality of their music, and how they've been able to embrace their creative freedom.
