NewReleaseTuesday.com gets #1 ranking

NewReleaseTuesday.com (NRT), a Christian music and entertainment mega-site and part of the FrontGate Media family, has reached another milestone in its rapid ascension as the #1 Christian music website. The NRTeam, the largest crowdsourced interactive Christian music community online, recently welcomed its 50,000th member, immediately on the heels of record traffic posted in August 2011.

In the past three months, NewReleaseTuesday.com has consistently ranked #1 in Christian media sites on independent traffic aggregators Compete.com and QuantCast.com.

In just over six months, the site has added 10,000 members to its online community, averaging 1,650 new members a month, an increase of 28% over previous month to month growth in 2010.

In addition, August 2011 broke the previous site visitor record posted in March 2011 by 6.7%, welcoming 438,000 visitors who viewed over 858,000 pages.

NRT has now hosted over 3.1 million visitors in 2011, an increase of 86% over 2010 and an astounding 202% increase over 2009. The site has seen 6.5 million pages visited this year alone, an increase of 52% over last year. NRT is on target to see over 5 million visitors and just under 10 million pageviews this year.

A major contributor to recent growth has been the move to event partnerships. NewReleaseTuesday.com enjoyed a huge debut at both Creation Northeast and Northwest this summer, two of the country’s biggest Christian music festivals, which featured the NRT booth, on-stage announcements, program advertising and sponsorship of the festival’s first ever scavenger hunt.

NewReleaseTuesday.com is currently on the road with the Music With A Mission Tour (http://www.musicwithamissiontour.com), a 23-city traveling festival featuring 9 bands including headliners Hawk Nelson, Fireflight and Superchick as a major sponsor alongside Compassion International. The site is also looking forward to upcoming 2012 sponsorships with the Ammunition Conference in Modesto, CA and will soon be announcing a partnership with one of the largest annual Christian music tours.

NRT Radio, the site’s online 24/7 radio station, will be expanding its weekly syndicated line-up, adding The Sunday Morning Drive with Brenton Miles as the station continues to grow, now reaching listeners in 110 countries worldwide!

Future additions to the site will include greater integration with events, more mobile app development, exclusive video content and the recently announced Monday Night Chats at 8PM EST, which will allow Christian music fans an opportunity to interact with a new Christian artists every single week.
