The Grammy-nominated rock group AS I LAY DYING will release their sixth album,AWAKENED, September 25 on Metal Blade. The group has premiered a third studio update viaThe Gauntlet HERE. The clip shows guitarist PHIL SGROSSO working on the title track,“Awakened,” while recording the group’s latest release in  Blasting Room in Fort Collins, COwith renowned rock producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents) and mixer Colin Richardson. AWAKENED marks the follow-up to the Decas EP (2011) which reached #2 on the iTunes Rock Chart. In touring news, AS I LAY DYING has just confirmed they will be performing at the California Metal Fest 6 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA on Saturday, November 24. This October, AS I LAY DYING will launch a European tour with Trivium, Caliban and Upon A Burning Body before returning to the U.S. in November for a nationwide tour. Expect AS I LAY DYINGNICK HIPA (guitar), TIM LAMBESIS (vocals), JORDAN MANCINO (drums),SGROSSO (guitar) and JOSH GILBERT (bass)—to announce a full U.S. tour soon.
