Myrtle Beach, South Carolina melodic hardcore band Hundredth released two new songs yesterday. The new tunes, “Dead Weight” and “Victim,” were teased by the band earlier this year on social media when they recorded the tracks at Charleston, South Carolina’s Fairweather Studio with producer Sam Pura (The Story So Far, State Champs).

This is the band’s first new material since last summer’s Free, their third full-length album, also recorded by Pura. The single marks the return of original Hundredth member Alex Blackwell IV; it is his first appearance since 2011’s Let Go. Blackwell rejoined the band as lead guitarist after former Hundredth guitarist Blake Hardman left the group last year. The new Hundredth singles are available on iTunes and Spotify.

Hundredth hits the road throughout September and October for the Free Mind Tour, a U.S. tour supporting The Amity Affliction with Being as an Ocean and Trophy Eyes. Tour dates available below.

Notably, Trobee tackles his evolution from rigid belief system to an acceptance and understanding of other ideas: "Through touring and becoming close with those very people I was taught to be afraid of, I realized how untrue it all is."
